We use ours for camping, too, and love it. Unless your style of outdoor bbqing is for hours and hours, using special briquettes or wood chips, etc. it will seem exactly the same. We’ve cooked everything from the usual burgers and chicken to soups or coffee, boiled water, etc. on it- works great.

We had one & took it everywhere – beach, picnics, park & cooked everything – chicken, corn (in tin foil), burgers, hot dogs, fish, shrimp, potatoes. Inexpensive, fun & the food tasted great.

just as good in my opinion. we use it camping and i’ve cooked lamb, hamburger, hot dogs, turkey legs, steak, to name a few.

depends on how many people you grill for. i have big gas grill i only cook for 2. but i only use 1 side of it. but if i have a family get together i use all of it. if just for 2 or 3 it will be great, but if more your better off buying a regular gas grill.
