No I don’t agree
The word BBQ has its definite meaning..
your gas grill is intended for pots and pans and it is not necessarily a grill intended to cook food directly on the surface
They often use alcohol and kerosene..

A real BBQ slow cooks the meat for three or four hours with a lot of humidity and smoke.
I wouldn’t eat anything cooked over a stove using petrol though. A Weber grill is only about $30-$40 in the US. Charcoal grills have better flavor.
